Hi friends,
I hope you all had a lovely 4th of July weekend and were able to enjoy some festivities even in the midst of the rain.
It has been a busy couple months and I have really enjoyed getting to see some of you again this year during our first two drops, as well as being able to meet some of you for the first time. We look forward to some more drops in the next couple months. 🙂

We also had a little adventure a few weeks ago when an unexpected storm rolled through our area and blew one of our chicken tractors almost 100 feet away. Thankfully we were close to home when this happened, so we were able to gather up all the chickens and get them into a shelter quickly, with no losses. I owe a huge thanks to my incredible family for helping me to gather up the wet, cold chickens in the dumping rain, as well as getting the chicken tractor fixed up and back to work in just a few hours.
